What regex flavor does this tester use?
Patterns are evaluated with Python's re module on the server, which closely matches PCRE syntax used by most languages (JavaScript, PHP, Java) for common patterns.
What do the i, m and s flags mean?
i makes matching case-insensitive. m (multiline) makes ^ and $ match the start/end of each line instead of the whole string. s (dotall) makes . also match newline characters.
Is my test text stored anywhere?
No. Your pattern and test string are sent to the server only to compute matches for this request, then discarded — nothing is logged or saved.
